**Erode, April 7, 2025** – Police have arrested a third suspect in the murder of 24-year-old Sakthivel from Krishnagiri district. T. Kumar, 22, was apprehended Sunday in a hideout in Veppanahalli, Krishnagiri district, and is now lodged in Coimbatore Central Prison. Kumar, along with previously arrested Venkatesh (32) and Rajendran (35), allegedly lured Sakthivel to a forest area in Thattakarai, murdered him, and burned his body. The crime was discovered on March 31st when forest staff found skeletal remains. Police investigations revealed that Venkatesh suspected Sakthivel of having an affair with his wife, providing the motive for the crime.
