**Thanjavur, April 7, 2025** – The Thanjavur district administration has issued a final deadline of May 15th for all businesses, industries, educational institutions, and traders to display their names in Tamil. Collector B. Priyanka Pankajam announced the deadline, emphasizing that compliance is mandatory under the Labour and Food Safety Acts.
A monitoring committee, comprising officials from various departments and representatives from traders’ and hoteliers’ associations, has been formed to ensure 100% adherence. Failure to comply by the deadline will result in legal action, the Collector warned.
