**RAMESWARAM, Tamil Nadu –** Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended Ram Navami greetings to the nation on Sunday, April 6th, 2025, and announced his plans to visit Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, later in the day. In a post on X, he wished for the blessings of Lord Ram to guide everyone’s endeavors.
The Prime Minister’s visit includes the inauguration of the new Pamban Rail Bridge – India’s first vertical lift sea bridge – at around noon. He will also flag off a train and a ship from the road bridge and witness the bridge’s operation. Following this, he will perform a darshan and puja at the Ramanathaswamy temple.
Later in the afternoon, Mr. Modi will lay the foundation stone and dedicate various rail and road projects worth over ₹8,300 crore in Tamil Nadu to the nation. A public address will conclude his visit.
