**Madurai, April 5, 2025** – Water levels in major dams across Tamil Nadu remain stable following recent rainfall, according to the latest reports. The Mullaperiyar dam registered a level of 113.30 feet (permissible level: 142 feet), with an inflow of 396 cusecs and an outflow of 105 cusecs. The Vaigai dam recorded a level of 56.43 feet (maximum level: 71 feet), with an inflow of 180 cusecs and an outflow of 72 cusecs. The combined storage in Periyar credit stood at 2,037.35 mcft.

Rainfall in the 24 hours ending Saturday morning varied across the region, with Sothupparai dam receiving the highest at 86 mm, while other locations such as Manjalar, Andipatti, and Kodaikanal reported rainfall in the range of 33-43 mm.
