**Los Angeles, CA** – A sneak peek of James Gunn’s upcoming Superman film, *Superman: Legacy*, leaked online Thursday, igniting a firestorm on social media. The footage, initially shown in IMAX theaters before screenings of *The Minecraft Movie* and previously at CinemaCon, depicts Superman’s arrival at the Fortress of Solitude following a dramatic Arctic crash landing. The clip showcases Superman’s injured state, his reunion with Krypto, and his subsequent healing within the Fortress.

Director James Gunn, who officially released the clip following the leak, confirmed that the footage is consistent with what was shown at CinemaCon. He revealed that he was offered the Superman project back in 2018 but chose *The Suicide Squad* instead. Gunn stated his intention to create a “modern” Superman story centered on “kindness and human love.”

The leaked footage shows Krypto playfully interacting with his injured master before Superman is tended to by automatons. The clip then transitions into the already released main trailer, ending with Superman almost leaving Krypto behind before relenting.
