**Bengaluru, April 4, 2025** – Tata Starbucks, the joint venture between Starbucks and Tata Consumer Products, launched its first drive-thru outlet in South India today, located in Bengaluru’s Electronics City. This marks the 50th Starbucks store in the city and the eighth drive-thru location nationwide.
The new store signifies Starbucks’ continued expansion in India, particularly in Bengaluru, a city described by Tata Starbucks CEO Sushant Dash as “pivotal in developing cafe culture” and a key market for the company. Dash noted the brand serves over 10,000 customers daily in Bengaluru.
Tata Starbucks, which entered the Bengaluru market in 2013, plans to further expand its presence in the region with locally-inspired offerings. A premium “Reserve” store, featuring specially sourced and roasted coffees, is also slated to open later this year.
