**Chandigarh, [Date]** – The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) today released the results for its Class 8 examinations, revealing a 97.30% overall pass rate. While a significant majority of students passed, this represents a slight decrease from last year’s 98.31% success rate.
Two students achieved perfect scores: Puneet Verma from Hoshiarpur secured first rank with 600/600, while Navjot Kaur from Faridkot earned second place due to age-based ranking criteria. Girls once again outperformed boys, achieving a 98.9% pass rate compared to the boys’ 96.49%.
Amritsar district topped the state with a 98.85% pass percentage, followed by Pathankot and Gurdaspur. Students can access their results online at pseb.ac.in.
