**DETROIT, MI** – The Detroit Lions, reigning NFC North champions, announced a wave of jersey number changes for the upcoming 2025 season. Several key players, including two former Alabama standouts, will sport new digits.
Running back Jahmyr Gibbs will switch from No. 26 to No. 0, a number he also wore in college. Wide receiver Jameson Williams, also an Alabama alum, will don No. 1, a change from his previous No. 9. The pair’s former Crimson Tide teammate, cornerback Terrion Arnold, will move from No. 0 to No. 6.
Other notable number changes include newly signed cornerback D.J. Reed (No. 4), and rookie Ennis Rakestraw (No. 6). The Lions also revealed new numbers for several other players, including wide receivers Ronnie Bell (No. 10) and Tim Patrick (No. 12), linebacker Grant Stuard (No. 15), cornerback Rock Ya-Sin (No. 23), safety Morice Norris (No. 26), defensive lineman Roy Lopez (No. 51), tight end Kenny Yeboah (No. 88), defensive lineman Al-Quadin Muhammad (No. 96), and defensive lineman Brodric Martin (No. 99).
