**Mumbai, April 4, 2025** – A Virgin Atlantic flight from London Heathrow to Mumbai was forced to make an unscheduled landing in Diyarbakir, Turkey, on April 2nd due to a medical emergency onboard. Flight VS358, carrying over 200 passengers, was originally scheduled to arrive in Mumbai at 1:40 am on Thursday.
The Airbus A350-1000 is expected to resume its journey to Mumbai at 12:00 pm local time today, pending necessary approvals. Until then, passengers are being provided with hotel accommodations and refreshments in Diyarbakir.
