**San Francisco, CA –** Tekken 8 players are gearing up for a massive update as Season 2 officially launches today. Bandai Namco has released the patch notes detailing extensive changes across the board. Server maintenance began at 2:30 p.m. PDT and is expected to last several hours.
The update includes brand new moves and balance adjustments for every character in the roster. System-wide changes are also implemented, though some, such as the reversal of chip damage on throw escapes, will be addressed in a future update.
A highly anticipated addition is the arrival of Anna Williams as a playable character. The Year 2 Season Pass will also become available following the completion of the server maintenance and patch deployment.
