Tue Apr 01 10:07:25 UTC 2025: ## Delhi Fire Guts Cars, Damages Buildings in Jhandewalan
**New Delhi, April 1, 2025** – A massive fire ripped through a commercial complex in Delhi’s Jhandewalan Extension on Tuesday afternoon, destroying several cars and damaging nearby buildings. Fifteen fire tenders were deployed to control the blaze, which broke out at the Anarkali Complex in Block E 3 around 2:35 pm.
According to Delhi Fire Services officials, the fire quickly spread to a nearby DDA shopping complex and a bank. While firefighters worked to extinguish the flames, numerous cars parked in the vicinity were completely gutted. Central Delhi MP Harsha Vardhan confirmed the incident and stated that fire fighters and police were on the scene. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
