**Hyderabad, April 1, 2025** – The Telangana government has extended the application deadline for the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme, a program aimed at providing financial assistance to unemployed youth. The new deadline is April 14th, an extension from the original April 5th deadline announced on March 25th.

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka announced the extension following a video conference on Monday. The scheme, which will receive a ₹10,000 crore investment, offers financial assistance of up to ₹4 lakh to young people from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, minority communities, and Economically Weaker Sections.

Mr. Vikramarka emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting unemployed youth and directed the appointment of a young officer in each district to streamline the application process and project implementation. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has urged officials to proactively address any issues that may arise. Both Chief Ministers will regularly monitor the scheme’s progress. The announcement comes as the government works to ensure the scheme’s success in providing much-needed financial support to young Telangana residents.
