**Ludhiana, March 30** – Residents of Ludhiana have until Monday, March 31, to pay their property taxes and water-sewer bills without incurring penalties. Despite Monday being a government holiday (Eid-al Fitr), the Municipal Corporation (MC) will keep its zonal *suvidha kendras* open to accommodate taxpayers.

The MC has collected over ₹149.10 crore of its ₹150 crore annual target by Sunday. However, those who fail to pay by the deadline will face a 20% penalty and an 18% annual interest charge.

Mayor Inderjit Kaur and MC Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal urged residents to pay their dues promptly. They emphasized that tax revenue funds essential development projects and public services. To assist residents, the *suvidha kendras* remained open on Saturday and Sunday, and will remain open on Monday as well. Alternatively, residents can pay online at http://www.mcludhiana.gov.in to avoid potential queues.
