**Belagavi, Karnataka – March 31, 2025** – Basanagouda Patil Yatnal, a BJP MLA expelled from the party for six years, has threatened to launch a new regional party if the influence of former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa and his son remains dominant within the Karnataka BJP.

Yatnal, speaking to reporters in Vijayapura on March 30th, criticized the Yediyurappa family, accusing them of corruption and “adjustment politics,” and failing to protect Hindutva activists. He stated his new party would prioritize Hindutva ideology and the development of northern Karnataka.
