**Chennai, India** – Tamil Nadu witnessed widespread celebrations on Monday as Muslims across the state marked Eid al-Fitr, the festival that concludes the holy month of Ramadan. Thousands congregated at mosques and designated open spaces to offer special Eid prayers, with particularly large gatherings observed in Trichy. Drone footage showcased massive crowds performing namaz in the streets of Trichy, a testament to the fervent observance of the holiday.
