**Patna, Bihar, March 29, 2025** – The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) today announced the results for the Class 10 (Matric) annual examination, revealing an overall pass percentage of 82.11%. A total of 12,79,294 students cleared the exam out of 15,58,077 who appeared.
This year’s results saw an unprecedented tie for the top position. Sakshi Kumari (Samastipur), Ranjan Verma (Bhojpur), and Anshu Kumari (Gahri) jointly secured the highest score of 489 marks (97.8%), a feat that earned each of them a doubled prize amount of ₹200,000. The Bihar Board increased prize money for toppers this year, doubling the reward for the top rank and significantly increasing the awards for other top performers.
Students can access their results via the official websites matricresult2025.com and matricbiharboard.com by entering their roll number and roll code. As an alternative, Jagran Josh provides a result viewing option in case of website crashes. Results can also be accessed via SMS by texting “BIHAR10 ” to 56263.
The BSEB conducted the Class 10 board exams from February 17 to 25, 2025. The results include detailed information on pass percentages, the toppers’ list, and gender-wise performance. A press conference was held earlier today to announce the key highlights before the results were made available online.
