**Kolkata, India –** The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season kicked off on March 22nd with a match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Eden Gardens. The tournament features 74 matches – 70 league games and 4 playoff matches – with 10 teams competing for the coveted title.
