Despite mechanical issues forcing them to retire two stages before the end, the duo had already secured the championship title after completing 19 of the 21 challenging stages. The demanding rally covered a total distance of 1,381.92km, with 383.10km of competitive sections.

Pulligilla, known for his aggressive driving style, and Sherif, India’s most decorated co-driver with over 33 years of experience and 91 international rallies under his belt, praised the challenging terrain. They plan to compete in future WRC rounds in Saudi Arabia and Sardinia. Pulligilla stated that they managed to stay within three minutes of the top WRC cars despite the difficult conditions.
