**Patna, Bihar** – The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) today announced the results for the Intermediate (Class 12) annual examination, revealing an 83% pass rate. Education Minister Sunil Kumar and Additional Chief Secretary S Siddharth made the announcement at 1:15 pm.
Priya Jaiswal from West Champaran secured the top spot in the Science stream, achieving 484 marks (96.8%). Akash Kumar followed closely in second place with 96% (480 marks), and Ravi Kumar secured third place with 95.6%. Ankit Kumar, Atul Kumar, and Varsha Rani jointly earned fifth rank.
Students can access their results online via the official websites: interresult2025.com and interbiharboard.com, using their roll number and date of birth. NDTV also provides a dedicated results page for easy access.
The Bihar Board Class 12 exams, held from February 1st to 15th, 2025, saw a total of 1,292,313 students participate – 641,847 female and 650,466 male.
This year, the rewards for top performers have been significantly increased. First-rank holders receive Rs 2 lakh (previously Rs 1 lakh), second-rank holders get Rs 1.5 lakh (previously Rs 75,000), and third-rank holders receive Rs 1 lakh (previously Rs 50,000). Fourth to tenth-rank holders receive Rs 30,000 (previously Rs 15,000). All top-ranking students also receive a laptop, certificate, and medal.
