Sun Mar 23 10:43:02 UTC 2025: ## Self-Styled Pastor Faces New Assault Allegations After Sexual Harassment Case

**JALANDHAR, PUNJAB** – A self-styled pastor, Bajinder Singh, leader of “The Church of Glory and Wisdom” in Jalandhar, Punjab, is facing renewed scrutiny following the emergence of a disturbing CCTV video showing him assaulting a man and a woman in his office. The footage, which went viral on social media last month, depicts Singh slapping and throwing objects at his alleged staff members.

This latest revelation comes weeks after Singh was already facing charges of sexual harassment, stalking, and criminal intimidation, filed by a woman who alleges he inappropriately touched her in 2022. The woman, who was a member of Singh’s church from 2017 to 2023, also reported that she was subjected to stalking and intimidation after leaving the church. She further accused Singh of involvement in the opium trade and trafficking of women.

The newly surfaced CCTV footage shows Singh physically assaulting a male and then a female staff member, causing a stir on social media and leading to further outrage. The National Commission for Women has demanded Singh’s immediate arrest.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Babandeep Singh, confirmed that a case has been registered against the self-proclaimed “Prophet Bajinder,” and police indicated that the investigation would be broadened should further complaints emerge.

Singh denies all allegations, claiming he is innocent and vowing to take action against his accusers. However, this is not the first time Singh has been embroiled in controversy. Previous accusations include sexual harassment claims in 2018 and 2022, as well as allegations of fraud concerning a deceased patient’s family in 2022. In 2023, his premises were raided by the income tax department.

The impact of the viral video and the ongoing investigation remain to be seen, but it is certain to further damage Singh’s reputation and intensify calls for justice for his alleged victims.
