However, the match was briefly overshadowed by an injury scare involving RR bowler Sandeep Sharma.
Sharma was struck in the chest by a throw from teammate Yashasvi Jaiswal during the seventh over. While the blow appeared forceful and medical staff rushed onto the field, Sharma seemingly brushed off the injury and completed his over.
