**Madurai, March 23, 2025** – A newborn baby girl was found dead near Mahaboobpalayam in Madurai on Saturday, prompting a police investigation. Residents of Ansari Nagar discovered the infant near Kovilpillai Colony and alerted authorities. The baby was taken to Government Rajaji Hospital where doctors pronounced her dead.
