**Gaza City, March 23, 2025** – A senior Hamas political leader, Salah al-Bardaweel, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, early Sunday morning, according to Hamas and Palestinian media. Al-Bardaweel, a member of Hamas’s political office, and his wife were reportedly killed in the attack.

This latest strike comes after Israel resumed significant military operations in Gaza on Tuesday, March 18th, following the breakdown of a two-month ceasefire.
