**Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, March 22, 2025** – Chaos erupted in a Meerut court today as lawyers attacked Sahil Shukla, accused in the brutal murder of Merchant Navy officer Saurabh Rajput. Police intervened to prevent further violence. Shukla is accused of orchestrating the murder with Rajput’s wife, Muskan Rastogi.

Rajput’s family alleges that occult practices were central to the crime. His mother, Renu Devi, stated that both Shukla and Rastogi were involved in tantric rituals, claiming these rituals led to Rajput’s death. Rajput’s in-laws further alleged that Shukla manipulated Rastogi through these practices, isolating her from her six-year-old daughter.

Rajput was allegedly drugged, stabbed to death, and his body dismembered and concealed in a drum filled with cement on March 4th. Shukla and Rastogi then went on vacation to Himachal Pradesh, misleading Rajput’s family with messages sent from his phone. They were arrested on March 18th following a police report.

Police sources reveal that Rastogi’s statements implicate Shukla as the mastermind, claiming he coerced her into committing the murder, stating it was necessary for their future together. A police source described how Shukla allegedly directed Rastogi to stab Rajput multiple times, even holding her hand to complete the act.

While Superintendent of Police (City) Ayush Vikaram Singh confirmed that all aspects of the case are under investigation, the allegations of occult involvement remain a significant aspect of the ongoing investigation. The incident highlights a shocking case of alleged murder and manipulation, raising concerns about the influence of occult beliefs.
