**Bengaluru, March 22, 2025** – The Karnataka government plans to establish a large-scale Jewellery Park near Bengaluru’s international airport, according to Industries Minister M.B. Patil. The announcement was made Friday at the IIJS Tritiya 2025, a major B2B jewellery expo in the city.

Minister Patil highlighted the strategic location and Karnataka’s supportive business environment as key factors in attracting investment to the proposed park. He emphasized the state’s commitment to fostering growth within the gem and jewellery sector.

Kirit Bhansali, Chairman of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council, expressed confidence in India’s ability to reach its ambitious export target of $70 billion by 2030, despite global economic challenges. He cited expanding Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and government support as contributing factors. The new park is expected to further boost this growth.
