**San Antonio, TX & Tampa, FL –** The highly anticipated NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s basketball tournaments have officially begun. The men’s tournament’s First Four games kicked off Tuesday, followed by the women’s First Four on Wednesday. A total of 68 teams are vying for the national championship title in both divisions.
The men’s games are being broadcast across CBS Sports and Turner Sports networks (TBS, CBS, TNT, truTV), their digital platforms, March Madness Live, Max, and Paramount+. The women’s tournament will be shown on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and ESPNEWS, with streaming options available through the ESPN App and ESPN+ (for the Final Four and Championship).
The men’s tournament will culminate in the national championship game at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on April 7th at 8:50 p.m. ET. The women’s championship will be held at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida on April 6th at 3 p.m. ET.
Early round matchups include several high-profile contests. In the men’s bracket, Alabama State upset Saint Francis in the First Four, while North Carolina defeated San Diego State. Thursday’s first-round games feature a clash between Louisville and Creighton, and a showdown between top seed Houston and SIU Edwardsville. Friday’s men’s matches include Duke facing the winner of the American University/Mount St. Mary’s First Four matchup and Alabama facing Robert Morris.
The women’s tournament saw Iowa State battle Princeton and UC San Diego facing Southern University in the First Four. Friday’s first round features matchups such as Michigan against the Iowa State/Princeton winner, and South Carolina against Tennessee Tech.
