**Los Angeles, CA –** This spring, moviegoers will experience a cinematic first: a foreign language film, seamlessly dubbed into English using artificial intelligence, hitting US theaters. AMC Theatres will screen the Swedish sci-fi adventure “Watch the Skies” (originally titled “UFO Sweden”) on 100 screens across its top 20 markets, starting May 9th.
This groundbreaking achievement is thanks to Flawless, an AI company that has digitally altered the film’s audio and visuals, perfectly synchronizing English dubbing with the actors’ original lip movements. The process uses the original cast’s voices and is compliant with SAG-AFTRA regulations. Distributor XYZ Films is partnering with Flawless on the release.
