**VISAKHAPATNAM, March 21, 2025** – Visakhapatnam MP M. Sribharat met with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to advocate for crucial road infrastructure improvements in the city, emphasizing the need to address growing traffic congestion and prepare for the upcoming Bhogapuram International Airport.
Key requests included a redesign of the Anandapuram Junction entry ramp onto National Highway 16 to alleviate bottlenecks, and expedited progress on the Visakhapatnam-Kharagpur Beach Corridor project, currently in the Detailed Project Report (DPR) stage.
Mr. Sribharat highlighted the city’s rapid economic and tourism growth, stressing the importance of seamless road connectivity to support this expansion and the transformative impact of the new airport.
