**Clemson, SC –** Four Clemson men’s basketball players received All-ACC honors, capping off a record-breaking season for the Tigers. The accolades follow a historic year that saw the team achieve a record number of wins.
Guard Chase Hunter earned a spot on the All-ACC First Team, marking the third consecutive year a Clemson player has received this prestigious honor. Hunter leads the team in scoring with an average of 16.0 points per game, along with impressive rebounding, assisting, and steal numbers. He’s closing in on sixth place in Clemson’s all-time scoring list.
Senior Ian Schieffelin, last year’s ACC Most Improved Player, moved up to the All-ACC Second Team. He’s averaging career highs in points, rebounds, and assists, and is on track for another 300-rebound season.
Boston College transfer Jaeden Zackery made the ACC All-Defensive Team, ranking third in the league in steals with a remarkable 1.97 per game. Viktor Lakhin rounded out the honored players, receiving an All-ACC Honorable Mention, with career-highs in points and a strong three-point shooting percentage. He also significantly improved his defensive contributions.
Clemson will begin their ACC Tournament run on Thursday, March 13th at 9:30 p.m., facing the winner of the SMU/Syracuse/Florida State matchup.
