Thu Mar 20 04:53:08 UTC 2025: ## Veteran Vocalist Sangeeta Katti Kulkarni to Headline All-Women Ekatvam Holi Music Fest

**Bengaluru, March 20, 2025** – The Ekatvam Holi Music Fest, celebrating its fifth year, will feature an all-women lineup of renowned Indian classical musicians. The festival, founded by Rajmohan Krishnan to nurture musical talent, will take place over two weekends: March 22-23 and March 29-30 at The Bangalore Gayana Samaja and Pathi Sabhangana respectively.

A highlight of the festival will be the performance by celebrated Hindustani vocalist Sangeeta Katti Kulkarni on March 30th. Katti Kulkarni, who is celebrating 50 years in the music industry this year, began her training at the age of five under legendary composer Naushad Sahab. She has since studied with numerous renowned gurus and collaborated with leading figures in Indian music, including Dr. M Balamurali Krishna and Dr. S P Balasubramanian. Her extensive repertoire spans Hindustani classical, light classical, bhajans, folk, and film music. She released her first album, *DasaManjari*, at just 13 years old.

Katti Kulkarni expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to perform at Ekatvam, hoping the festival will one day achieve global recognition. She emphasized the emotional depth and power of music, drawing parallels between the seven colours of the rainbow and the seven notes of the musical scale.

The festival features a diverse array of artists including H Amritha Shenoy, Debopriya Chatterjee, Suchismita, Kalpana Kishore, Shreya Kolathaya, Sreeja Rajendran, and Sri Ranjani Santhanagopalan, alongside the Kanchana sisters.
