**New York, NY** – A 15-year veteran FBI agent, Johnathan Buma, was arrested Monday at JFK International Airport on charges of illegally disclosing classified information, federal court records revealed Tuesday. Buma, who had previously voiced concerns about FBI investigative practices to the media, government agencies, and Congress, allegedly printed and shared confidential FBI documents and communications with associates while working on a book about his experiences within the bureau. The documents were reportedly incorporated into a draft of the book. Buma was apprehended while awaiting an international flight. His attorney has yet to comment on the charges.
