**Cuttack, Odisha:** Cuttack Rural Police have successfully apprehended a three-member inter-district burglary gang, recovering stolen jewelry and other valuables worth approximately Rs 25 lakh. The gang, primarily comprised of members of a nomadic group, was operating across Cuttack and neighboring districts.
The arrests followed a complaint filed on March 7th by Ramesh Sahoo, who reported a burglary at his home. Police investigation, aided by information from the complainant and local sources, led to the apprehension of Bikas Das and Kuna Das on Sunday. The receiver of the stolen goods, Debasish Sahoo, was arrested on Tuesday. Police recovered gold and silver ornaments, and brass utensils worth Rs 25 lakh from Debasish’s possession.
