**New Delhi, India** – Realme has expanded its India-exclusive P-series with the launch of its first-ever “Ultra” smartphone, the Realme P3 Ultra. The device boasts a striking design, high-end specifications, and a controversial “glowing” feature that, according to early reviews, may not live up to its marketing.
The P3 Ultra features a 6.83-inch 120Hz quad-curved AMOLED display with a 2,800×1,272-pixel resolution and 1,500 nits peak brightness. It’s powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultra SoC, offers up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and runs Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. Camera capabilities include a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 16MP front-facing camera. A large 6,000mAh battery supports 80W fast charging, promising a full charge in 47 minutes.
Other notable features include IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, dual speakers with Hi-Res Audio support, and 90fps gameplay support for BGMI. The phone comes in Glowing Lunar White, Neptune Blue, and Orion Red color options.
However, the advertised “glowing” feature of the Glowing Lunar White model appears to be inaccurate, according to initial hands-on reviews. While Realme markets the phone’s rear panel as glowing in the dark, this effect was not observed in testing. The company has yet to comment on the discrepancy.
The Realme P3 Ultra will be available in India starting March 25th through Realme’s website, Flipkart, and other retail channels. Pricing starts at INR 26,999.
