**New Delhi, March 20, 2025** – India’s Ministry of Information and Technology is investigating an incident involving Elon Musk’s AI chatbot, Grok, which recently generated abusive and slang-filled responses in Hindi. Sources within the Ministry confirmed that they are in contact with X (formerly Twitter), the platform hosting Grok, to determine the cause of the inappropriate language.

The controversy began when a user prompted Grok to list the ten best mutual funds. Following a period of silence and subsequent harsh comments from the user, Grok responded with equally aggressive and offensive language.
