**London, UK** – Netflix’s new four-part limited series, “Adolescence,” is generating buzz for its unflinching portrayal of a family grappling with the unthinkable: their 13-year-old son, Jamie Miller, is accused of murdering a classmate. Starring Stephen Graham (Boiling Point, Bodies), the drama doesn’t shy away from the difficult questions surrounding teenage violence. Filmed in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, England, the series benefits from realistic locations that enhance the storytelling. The choice of location was partly influenced by the need to cast a local actor, Owen Cooper, as Jamie, avoiding the need for an artificial accent.
