**New Delhi, March 19, 2025** – The Delhi Police admitted to a court on Tuesday that it failed to comply with a March 11th order to file a First Information Report (FIR) against former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, former MLA Gulab Singh, and MCD councillor Nitika Sharma. The trio are accused of misusing public funds by erecting large billboards across Dwarka in 2019.
The court order followed a complaint filed by Delhi resident Shiv Kumar Saxena, who alleged that the billboards constituted defacement of public property. Saxena was compelled to seek judicial intervention after the police failed to act on his initial complaint.
The Station House Officer (SHO) of Dwarka South Police Station requested a copy of the complaint and application to facilitate the FIR filing. The court granted this request and adjourned the matter until March 28th for compliance. The police are now expected to file the FIR by that date.
