**NEW DELHI** – The 2025 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings have revealed the top Indian institutions for Computer Science & Information Systems. While MIT retained its global top spot, the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) secured the highest national ranking at 64th globally. This highlights the growing prominence of Indian universities in the field, particularly amidst a surge in student interest driven by strong career prospects.

Other leading Indian institutions in the QS rankings include IIT Bombay (76th), IIT Madras (107th), and several other IITs and prominent universities like IISc, VIT, and Anna University, all falling within the top 300 globally. The rankings included over 800 universities worldwide, with the top three spots claimed by US institutions: MIT, Stanford, and Carnegie Mellon. The list also featured universities from Singapore, the UK, and Switzerland in the top 10.
