**Sivakasi, March 17, 2025** – A 27-year-old man, P. Suresh, was hacked to death in his home in Munees Nagar, Sivakasi, on Sunday night in what police suspect was a revenge killing. Suresh, who had a prior criminal record involving the January murder of T. Gunasekaran following a dispute at a wineshop, was attacked by a gang of five around 10:15 pm. Police believe supporters of Gunasekaran may be responsible for the attack. The body was sent to Virudhunagar Government Medical College hospital for post-mortem, and Maraneri police are currently investigating the incident.
