**NEW DELHI, March 12, 2025** – Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO is set to launch its highly anticipated F29 5G series in India on March 20th at 12 PM IST. The series comprises two models: the OPPO F29 and the OPPO F29 Pro, both boasting impressive durability features designed to withstand India’s challenging environmental conditions.
The phones feature a “360-degree Armour Body” with “Sponge Bionic cushioning” to protect against drops. Both models meet IP66, IP68, and IP69 standards for water and dust resistance. Despite their robust construction, they maintain a slim profile, measuring just 7.55mm thick and weighing 180 grams.
The OPPO F29 will be available in Solid Purple and Glacier Blue, offering 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage options. It packs a sizable 6,500mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC fast charging. The OPPO F29 Pro, available in Marble White and Granite Black, offers 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB storage configurations and a 6,000mAh battery with faster 80W SuperVOOC charging.
While official pricing hasn’t been released, leaks suggest both models will be priced under ₹25,000. The OPPO F29 5G series will be available for purchase through major online retailers including Amazon, Flipkart, and the OPPO India e-store.
