VIJAYAWADA, March 16, 2025 – Over 649,000 students in Andhra Pradesh will sit for their 10th-grade Secondary School Certificate (SSC) board examinations starting Monday, March 17th. The exams, held across 3,450 centers statewide, will see approximately equal numbers of boys and girls participating.
To assist students, the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) will offer free bus travel to and from examination centers upon presentation of hall tickets. Authorities have implemented measures to prevent malpractice, including installing CCTV cameras at 163 identified “problematic” centers and establishing a state-level helpline (0866-2974540).
The School Education Department implemented a 100-day preparatory plan, which involved intensive daily classes, regular assessments, and special support for students requiring extra assistance. Students are advised to arrive 30 minutes early, refrain from bringing electronic devices, and avoid any exam malpractice.
