**TIRUCHI, March 17, 2025** – Thirty people sustained injuries during a jallikattu event held in Melamichaelpatti, Ariyalur district, on Saturday, March 16th. According to reports, twenty-two individuals received injuries, with eight requiring transfer to the Ariyalur Government Medical College and Hospital for further treatment. A total of 496 bulls and 162 tamers, hailing from various districts including Tiruchi, Pudukottai, Villupuram, and Kallakurichi, participated in the event.
