**ALAPPUZHA, March 15, 2025** – D. Sajan, Professor and Head of the Physics Department at Bishop Moore College, Mavelikara, has been awarded the prestigious Fr. Dr. Jose Thekkan All India Best Teacher Award 2025. The award, presented by Christ College, Irinjalakuda, recognizes outstanding contributions to teaching and research.
A distinguished jury panel, including former ISRO chairperson K. Radhakrishnan, former Vice-Chancellor of Kerala Kalamandalam T. K. Narayanan, and poet K. Satchidanandan, selected Mr. Sajan for his innovative teaching methods, impactful research, and dedication to social and academic welfare.
The award includes a ₹50,000 cash prize, a memento, and a citation. A formal award ceremony is scheduled for March 18th. Fr. Jolly Andrews, Principal of Christ College, announced the selection, highlighting Mr. Sajan’s significant contributions to the field of education.
