**MUMBAI, INDIA** – Apoorva Mukhija, the actress embroiled in the controversy surrounding an episode of “India’s Got Talent,” has finally broken her social media silence. Mukhija, who appeared on the show alongside Ranveer Allahbadia, ceased posting on Instagram last month following the eruption of public outrage over offensive comments made during the episode.
After a month-long absence, Mukhija returned to Instagram, posting cryptic messages on her broadcast channel. One message read, “Diwaaro ke bhi kaan hote hain” (“Even walls have ears”), while another thanked her followers for their support. Her last post before her silence, dated February 10th (the same day Allahbadia issued a public apology), stated, “This is not how I should be rn.”
Mukhija and Allahbadia, along with other content creators Ashish Chanchlani and Jaspreet Singh, were featured on the controversial episode of Samay Raina’s show, which has since been removed from YouTube. All involved have reportedly submitted written apologies to the National Commission for Women (NCW).
Mukhija’s return to social media comes amidst the recent Netflix release of “Nadaaniyan,” in which she starred alongside Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor. Notably, she was absent from the film’s promotional activities.
