**Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh –** Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a series of directives aimed at improving law and order, accelerating development projects, and enhancing public amenities across the state. Key announcements made during a Wednesday review meeting include a permanent solution to noise pollution from religious loudspeakers, a strict ban on loud DJs during Holi celebrations, and a crackdown on cattle smuggling.

Adityanath ordered the installation of CCTV cameras at key locations to bolster security and instructed officials to take stern action against those involved in cattle smuggling, including police personnel complicit in the crime. He also directed a district-wise review of anti-cattle smuggling efforts.

To ensure timely project completion, the Chief Minister mandated the appointment of nodal officers for all ongoing development projects, with weekly inspections and progress reports required. He stressed the importance of maintaining quality while expediting work. Addressing the upcoming summer, he also emphasized the need for uninterrupted water supply.

Further initiatives include beautifying flyover pillars with artwork and advertisements, creating designated vending zones for street vendors, and ensuring affordable meals, free water, and proper seating for farmers at wheat procurement centers (commencing March 17th at ₹2,425 per quintal). The establishment of hostels and affordable canteens for working women was also announced. Finally, Adityanath called for increased vigilance during Holi celebrations and ordered the identification of the ten most wanted criminals in each police station.
