**Chennai, March 13, 2025** – SIMS Hospitals launched a new comprehensive women’s health and wellness centre, “SIMS Penmai,” in Vadapalani, Chennai on Wednesday. The centre, inaugurated by actress Urvashi and her daughter Tejalakshmi Jeyan, offers a “circle of care” approach, providing services across all stages of a woman’s life.
SIMS Penmai is divided into four specialized divisions: Mazhalai (infant and neonatal care), Miraclenest (advanced fertility treatments), Thulir (maternity care), and Mangai (adolescence to post-menopause care). The facility boasts advanced medical infrastructure and emphasizes personalized, compassionate healthcare.
Vice President of SIMS Hospitals, Raju Sivasamy, highlighted the centre’s aim to provide women with all their medical needs under one roof. Dr. Sandhya Vasan, head of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department, further explained the “circle of care” philosophy underpinning the centre’s design.
