**CHENNAI, INDIA – March 12, 2025** – Oppo has announced the upcoming launch of its F29 series smartphones in India on March 20th. The series, comprising the Oppo F29 Pro and the Oppo F29, boasts a robust design and impressive specifications.
Key features include a 360° armour body, extreme waterproofing with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, and a 14+ military-grade environmental test certification. Both models are expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The F29 Pro will house a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, while the F29 is anticipated to have a similar battery capacity with a lower wattage charger. Both phones will weigh approximately 180 grams and measure 7.55mm in profile.
Oppo highlights the strengthened glass lens protection ring and the aerospace-grade aluminium alloy internal frame for enhanced durability.
