**PALAKKAD, March 13, 2025** – The Government College, Chittur Alumni Association will hold a reunion this Friday on campus, honoring former teacher and Padma Shri recipient K. Omanakutty. The event will also see the distribution of the association’s Chiraku scholarships to 38 students and excellence awards. Former Union government Secretary T. Nandakumar will serve as chief guest. The association’s president, K. Jayadevan, highlighted their instrumental role in securing the college’s NAAC A+ accreditation.
