Thu Mar 13 00:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Beth Behrs Celebrates Final Season of ‘The Neighborhood,’ Reflects on Unfinished ‘2 Broke Girls’ Story
**LOS ANGELES** – Actress Beth Behrs is expressing gratitude towards CBS for allowing her a proper send-off with the upcoming final season of “The Neighborhood.” The sitcom, which also stars Max Greenfield, Tichina Arnold, and Cedric the Entertainer, has been renewed for an eighth and final season. Behrs’ statement comes in stark contrast to her experience with the cancellation of “2 Broke Girls,” where she co-starred with Kat Dennings.
“Most of my 20s were on ‘2 Broke Girls,’ almost all of my 30s were on ‘The Neighborhood,’ and I’ll usher in my 40s as we end our story,” Behrs shared on Instagram. She added that she and Dennings were denied a proper series finale for “2 Broke Girls,” which ran for six seasons before its abrupt cancellation in 2017. Dennings responded to Behrs’ post with enthusiastic support.
Behrs reflected on her seven years on “The Neighborhood,” calling them “some of the most memorable of my life,” and highlighting the show’s resilience in navigating challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic and industry strikes. She expressed her deep appreciation for the cast and crew, excitedly anticipating the final season. The actress noted that she considers this final season a chance to offer the fans of “The Neighborhood” a proper conclusion, something she missed out on with “2 Broke Girls”.
