**Villupuram, March 12, 2025** – A 32-year-old Chennai man, R. Aravind, has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred on Sunday near Tindivanam. Aravind, driving an Audi with West Bengal registration plates, struck a motorcycle carrying a couple, killing the 39-year-old male rider, Narayanasamy, instantly. His wife, Meena, 31, sustained injuries and was hospitalized.

Police utilized CCTV footage to identify the vehicle and subsequently apprehended Aravind in Chennai. He has been charged in connection with the incident.
