Wed Mar 12 08:50:00 UTC 2025: ## Chiefs Sign Cornerback Kristian Fulton to Lucrative Two-Year Deal

**Kansas City, MO** – The Kansas City Chiefs have bolstered their secondary, agreeing to a two-year, $20 million contract with free agent cornerback Kristian Fulton, ESPN reported Tuesday. The deal includes $15 million in fully guaranteed money.

Fulton, 26, enjoyed a strong start to the 2024 season with the Los Angeles Chargers, ranking among the league’s top cornerbacks in passer rating allowed before their Week 5 bye. However, his performance dipped after the bye, hampered by a hamstring injury and subsequent limited playing time.

Despite the inconsistency in the latter half of the season, the Chiefs clearly see value in Fulton’s potential. The former LSU standout and second-round pick in 2020 has battled injuries throughout his career, but played a career-high 15 games in 2024. In his five-year career, he has recorded 201 tackles and five interceptions. The Chiefs are hoping a change of scenery and a fresh start will allow Fulton to consistently display the high level of play he showed earlier in the 2024 season.
